Teacher of Design and Technology

An outstanding teacher of Design and Technology is required for September 2021 to join a committed and hard-working department. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and NQTs.
Additionally, you will benefit from:

Teacher of French

Start date: 01/09/2021

An enthusiastic, dynamic and creative teacher of French is required to join an ambitious and progressive department. The successful candidate should have the expertise to teach French to KS5, and a second language (German or Spanish) to at least KS3 level.   • Working in a subject area with a track record of excellent outcomes (80% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in GCSE MFL in 2019)

    Teacher of Girls’ PE

    Start date: 01/09/2021
    Type: Full time
    Contract Term: Permanent* We are seeking to appoint one full time permanent teacher and potentially one teacher on a fixed term contract

    Suitable for NQTs: Yes

    A well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of girls PE is required to join a talented department with a strong sporting tradition, to start September 2021. Applications from all sporting specialists are welcome.

    The successful candidate must be able to teach across the full range of sporting activities as well as GCSE PE and A level Physical Education. Additionally they should be hardworking, well-organised and able to work as part of a team. A good level of ICT competence is important, although training will be available in this area if required. A full commitment to extracurricular teams and activities in both morning and after school clubs is expected.
    The specific responsibilities will be determined according to the strengths of the successful candidate.

    Tudor Grange Academy is an outstanding 11 – 18 comprehensive school situated in South Solihull with a roll of 1643 (including 300 in the sixth form). The school was inspected by Ofsted in June 2014 who judged it to be outstanding overall and for each of the four main areas the school was categorised as outstanding.     Local Area

    Solihull is the home of designer-brand shopping, idyllic rural villages, fine dining, fabulous hotels and home to the National Exhibition Centre and Genting Arena, which hosts an array of spectacular live events.  Still quaint, the town is dotted with historic architecture including timber-framed Tudor houses and shops and nearly three-quarters of the borough is defined as Green Belt. In addition to this, Solihull is surrounded by picturesque countryside.   Birmingham Airport is just 10 minutes away and Birmingham International station and Solihull station both provide excellent transport links across the country.
