Catering Assistant

Start date: 01/09/2019
Contract type: Part Time
Salary Range NJC Scale 1-2 (FTE Salary £17,364 – £17,711)
Actual Salary £7118 – £7260

Working hours 17.5 hours per week 10.30 am – 2.15 pm Monday to Friday
Term Time only (39 weeks per year)
Contract term: Permanent

Due to the expansion of our school we are seeking to appoint a committed Catering Assistant to join our team of friendly, experienced staff. Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given, but you will need to be reliable and dedicated.

Lunchtime Supervisor

Working hours 12.5 hours per week 12.00 pm – 2.30 pm Monday to Friday

Learning Mentor

Start date: 01/09/2019
Contract type: Full or Part Time
Salary: NJC Scale 3 Points 5-6 FTE Salary £18,795 to £19,171
Actual Salary £16,290 to £16,616
Working hours: 8.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am to 3.30 pm on Friday (37 hours per week)
Term Time only (39 weeks per year)

Contract term: Permanent

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly committed individual for the post of Learning Mentor. Learning Mentors provide a complementary service to teachers and other staff, addressing the needs of students who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning.
We are also looking to appoint a highly skilled child-specific learning mentor to work 1:1 with a student on a full-time basis. Reduced contracted hours will be considered for a suitable candidate for this position.

Local Area

Solihull is the home of designer-brand shopping, idyllic rural villages, fine dining, fabulous hotels and home to the National Exhibition Centre and Genting Arena, which hosts an array of spectacular live events.

Still quaint, the town is dotted with historic architecture including timber-framed Tudor houses and shops and nearly three-quarters of the borough is defined as Green Belt. Add to that Solihull is surrounded by picturesque countryside.

Birmingham Airport is just 10 minutes away and Birmingham International station and Solihull station both provide excellent transport links across the country.
