TGAS pupil Mattew Ling has gained a place to perform with the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain. The orchestra is the leading ensemble for young instrumentalists playing at the highest level.  Competition for places in this group is intense with only the very best musicians being offered a place.  The National Children’s Orchestra perform professional orchestral repertoire in the country’s leading concert halls working with some of the world’s finest coaches and conductors.

As well as taking part in their performances, Matt will also have the opportunity to get involved with major youth orchestral projects and workshops lead by the finest musicians.  In school Matt is a member of the String Group, Orchestra and Chamber Choir, his latest achievement represents the next step in his training as one of the country’s finest young musicians.  We look forward to following his progress and seeing him in concert at School.  Congratulations, Matt, on this tremendous achievement.
