Dear Year 13,
I would say it was a pleasure to teach you but I was raised to not tell lies! I will try and keep this short (like Sameer) and maybe leave you with an emotional quote to confuse Steph!
Your Tudor Grange journey is over…… did you realise that you have shared 1330 days in each other’s company! We’ve been together through approximately 266 Monday’s, 266 Wednesdays (half way! it’s the weekend soon hang on in there). And 266 yay, it’s Fridays! Five years of fun times, challenging times and everything in between. It always feels bittersweet to leave a place you’ve enjoyed (even if you won’t admit it to others) and some of you may have joked about the Monday blues, having to return to school after a weekend full activities centred around family and friends, but I feel very fortunate to have been your teacher.
Your hard work, dedication and outright courage through such a difficult time speaks volumes about the type of character you all posses, I want you to be proud of what you have achieved at Tudor Grange and know you will be dearly missed. So good luck in all your future endeavours, I know you will all go on to achieve great things!
As you go through continue though life, never forget to keep learning, to keep having fun and to always #smile, I am so proud of you all.
I know saying goodbye to your friends can be difficult so I will leave you with a Dr. Seuss quote
“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” (you can google it later Steph)
All the best for the future
Your favourite teacher #YOLO 🙂
